Literary Institute Inc.\r\nPresident’s Report 2025\r\n\r\nThis year has been one of planning and consolidation with not a great deal of other activity apart from the Waitangi Picnic, which was well attended.\r\n\r\nWe have had offers of help with a builder inspecting the hall and showing the way forward, a scaffolder advising on how to make the site safe during repairs and a local goldminer offering labour to get the job done.\r\n\r\nWe have also had books donated for our collection from the Hokitika Commnity Trust, Greymouth Rotary, the Hokitika Library and Westland Industrial Heritage Park.
