Neil and Pearl Hamilton Trust is  a non profit entity set up by the late Neil Hamilton on behalf of himself and his late wife.   The purpose of the entity is to both support medical research and to offer assistance to families who are suffering financially due to the  effects of cancer within their family.    The former is undertaken through the Canterbury Medical Research Foundation while funds to respond to family hardship is by means of distribution through the Cancer Society.   During this reporting year the Trust has restricted its support due to a down-turn in the economy.
